Research Introduction
Our laboratory's research primarily focuses on utilizing subwavelength micro/nano metallic and dielectric structures to manipulate the complex amplitude, polarization, and frequency of electromagnetic waves, thereby modulating the optical, electrical, and thermal properties of materials. We place a strong emphasis on the optoelectronic applications of these micro/nano subwavelength structures.
Our current primary research topics are as follows:
- Applications of Micro/Nano-Optics, Metalenses, and Metasurface Optical Systems in Imaging: This includes under-display displays, light-field cameras, and multifunctional spectroscopic ellipsometers.
- Fabrication Technologies for Metasurface Optical Systems: Specialized techniques such as electron-beam lithography (EBL) and CMOS-compatible metasurface manufacturing technologies.
- Chip-Level / Wafer-Level Metasurface Applications in Image Sensors: Specifically focusing on components like color routers and polarization routers.
- Manipulation and Applications of Temporal and Spatial Coherence in Mid-Infrared Thermal Emission Emitters.
- Optical Applications Based on Micro/Nano-Optic Systems.
