My research focuses on laser physics and applications, optical materials and components, advanced optical imaging, and optoelectronic measurement techniques.
In laser technology, my work emphasizes the fabrication and applications of Volume Bragg Gratings (VBGs), particularly using PQ photopolymers to develop high-power, narrow-linewidth, and single-frequency semiconductor lasers for precision measurement and quantum optics applications.
In optical imaging and measurement, my research includes polarization imaging, short-wave and mid-wave infrared (SWIR/MWIR) single-pixel imaging, lock-in thermography, computational optics, and photothermal diagnostics.
I am also actively engaged in satellite laser communication research, integrating laser sources, optical systems, and photodetection technologies for free-space optical communication applications.
