The research interests are based on single molecule approaches and combined with optoelectronic engineering, nanomaterials, and nanomedicine to explore biophotonics subjects such as bioimaging informatics and biosensing. It is able to investigate cell signal transduction, physiological function, and tissue engineering with molecular resolution, and develop diagnostics and therapy applications using molecular inducement and manipulation.
