實驗室:
於亞利桑那取得光學博士學位後，便回國貢獻自身所學，任教於中央大學光電系。致力於非球面檢測與光學量測技術的發展與應用，亦於多光場成像及非成像光學設計等方面有所著墨。同時身為著名光學期刊Applied Optics、Optics Express…等的reviewer，也曾為Applied Optics光學設計與檢測類別的editor，不懈於關注最新發展，並對研究品質的提升與檢驗有所貢獻。除研究外，亦有多項合作計畫與專利，並成功進行專利技轉，使研究成果不泛於空談，而能有實際上的應用。

研究現況
實驗室研究領域介紹: 目前實驗室以光學檢測和光學設計為研究主軸，光學檢測的研究目的在於確保光學系統或者光學元件在製造與組裝過程中能夠符合原先在光學設計階段的要求，並且對於最終的系統做出性能評估，而光學設計多為特殊用途(One of a Kind )的產業應用或者學術研究領域，並具有多次的產學合作經驗，目前實驗室曾經發展過的研究如下所示。
1. 波前檢測技術 : 全視場波前檢測、非球面檢測、鏡片偏心檢測、鏡片表面檢測。
2. 光學系統驗證 : 望遠鏡系統檢測、光學準直度校正、感測器校正。
3. 干涉術 : 干涉條紋處理、非球面干涉儀、拼接式干涉儀、距離量測干涉儀。
4. 光學設計: 同軸照明系統設計、微型鏡頭設計、薄型高聚光太陽能集光器設計、曝光機鏡頭設計、生醫DNA檢測光學系統、超廣角接目鏡。
